What I’m Wearing
Jersey: Forever21| Sweatpants: TJ Maxx | Sneakers: ASOS

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been trying to be a little more daring with my personal style. Rather than throwing on my usual fitted shirt and skinny jeans, I’ve been adding in a few statement pieces here and there. Recently, I found this printed jersey at Forever21 for $12. Yes, $12! What a steal, right? Since everyone has been on this athletic apparel wave, I thought it would be a great idea to style my printed jersey with a pair of grey sweatpants. Remember those loose fitting sweatpants that we all used to wear to gym class back in the day? As you can see, that’s what I decided to wear with my jersey. Outfit of the Week
Shirt: Urban Outfitters | Jeans: River Island | Sneakers: Givenchy

Styling a distressed pair of white skinny jeans is a lot easier than it sounds. Remember, simplicity is your best weapon. You can try a white shirt with your white jeans for a “White on White” look. If all white is not your thing, add a little color to the mix. Whatever the case may be, the possibilities here are endless. For this particular look, I wanted to add a little contrast. So, I went with this black, Wu-Tang graphic tee, which is a great fit! With he addition of the high top sneakers, this outfit is straight out of an Urban Outfitters Lookbook! For the last six months, I have been searching every weekend for a lightweight, retro windbreaker. Luckily, I found one at my local Goodwill. Sold for $5, this jacket is the perfect addition to my nostalgic collection. Here, I have styled it with this 90s inspired graphic tee from ASOS and my favorite distressed jeans. In addition, I wore my royal navy tube socks with my black Sk8-Hi canvas sneakers from Journeys. Overall, I love this jacket! It looks great worn with any casual look. What do you think? WIWT: Monochromatic

Happy Hump Day Folks! Today, I decided to put together this little monochromatic look from my grey collection. I know, I know, this outfit is missing all your favorite spring pastel colors. Since I was going for a more “After 5” look, an all grey ensemble was a better option. In terms of style, the single breasted jersey blazer can be dressed down with a simple tee or tank. With the right pair of jeans, you can rock a pair of suede chelsea boots and not feel too under-dressed for the party. What do you think? Let me know in the comments section below.
