#WIWT Parka Jacket

February 27, 2019

What I’m Wearing
Parka Jacket | Tracksuit | Sneakers

I own my fair share of winter coats, but the parka is at the top of the list. Why? For starters, it’s quite warm and water resistant. There haven’t been too many times where I’ve felt a cold draft in the air. That being said, today I decided to get some wear and tear out of my white parka jacket from ASOS. Worn with a knitted sweater tracksuit, this jacket looks dope dressed down with athletic apparel. Plus, it’s really easy to keep all this white clean. So, how do you feel about this particular look? #WIWT Teddy Coat

What I’m Wearing
Teddy Coat | Turtleneck | Pants | Boots

This season, it’s all about the fluffy coats. That’s right! Everyone in Jersey and Philadelphia have been keeping warm in the favorite snuggly coats. So much so, that all your favorite retail stores have them in stock. Case in point, I found this white, teddy coat in Forever21’s sale section. It’s comfort and style at it’s best. Furthermore, the white on white coat and sweater combo are a perfect pair along side the plaid pants and suede chelsea boots. Why not nail a few trends with one outfit. Music Monday: Tamar Braxton Wins Celebrity Big Brother

After three long weeks, Tamar Braxton was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother season 2! Not only did she beat former NFL player, RIcky Williams, with a unanimous vote, she became the first African American to win the game. Did I forget to mention that she also broke the first one in the house curse? Who knew that Tamar would have so many records under her belt?

In the house, Tamar had a reputation for being very over the top, emotional, and dramatic. Let’s not forget to mention her pre-game drama fueled rivalry with Real Housewife Kandi. WIth that being said, the baby Braxton sister was a potential early boot. However, Tamar proved everyone wrong as she aligned herself with Lolo Jones, Natalie Eva Marie, and Ricky early on in the game, which kept her protected. Once she was able to put her differences to the side with Kandi, Tamar became less of a threat, and more of an after thought.

At the end of the day, Tamar won the hearts of the Big Brother family. It is for this honor, that I have created this playlist on the behalf of Tamar Braxton herself. Be sure to check out the full playlist below:

  1. “All the Way Home,” Tamar Braxton
  2. “Love and War,” Tamar Braxton
  3. “The One,” Tamar Braxton
  4. “Let Me Know,” Tamar Braxton
  5.  “Circles,” Tamar Braxton
  6. “Love and War,” Tamar Braxton
  7. “Love It,” Tamar Braxton
  8. “Hol’ Up,” Tamar Braxton
  9. “Tip Toe,” Tamar Braxton
  10. “Hot Sugar,” Tamar Braxton

#WIWT Color Block Hoodie

February 13, 2019

What I’m Wearing
Hoodie | Coat | Jeans | Sneakers

Happy Hump Day everyone! If you live in Jersey like me, I hope you took part in all these winter activities. It’s been on and off snowing here for the past two days. Luckily, I was able to catch a few flurries after work. Having said that, this layered fit was put together at the perfect time. This outfit was originally meant to be worn casually around the house (Minus the coat of course). Due to it’s comfort and durability, I decided to take it to the streets instead. The color block hoodie from Boohoo is the most appealing to me. Why? It’s the contrasting colors for sure. The dark navy and blue color scheme are carried throughout the look in subtle way. For instance, the side stripe on the denim pants pull the hue right out of he hoodie. Fun!  So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below!
