#WIWT Fleece Harlem Sweatshirt

December 26, 2018

What I’m Wearing
Sweatshirt | Jacket | Pants | Boots

It’s the first day of snow, and it feels so good! To be completely transparent, I’m not even a snow kind of guy, but all the white flurries in the air look quite magical. That being said, I decided to step out today in my newly purchased fleece knit sweatshirt from Forever21. With “Harlem 95” printed across the chest, this fire engine red sweatshirt looks great when styled with a pair of tweed joggers from Boohoo. Let’s not forget to mention the longline puffer jacket from ASOS, which adds for a nice sleek look. As you can see, I’m definitely staying warm in the snow with my comfy sweatshirt. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Stay warm,

#WIWT Tweed Vest

December 19, 2018

What I’m Wearing
Tweed Vest | Blazer | Dress Shirt | Corduroy Pants | Boots

Hey everyone! We’re a few days shy from the first day of winter, and all the thicker fabrics are coming out to play. As mentioned in a previous post found here, tweed is one of my favorite go-to fabrics when I’m trying to stay warm. That said, I decided to keep my dress shirt and necktie in tact with this Ralph Lauren tweed vest. Purchased almost seven years ago, has been my work staple over the years. Here I decided to style it with an orange blazer, navy corduroys, and leather boots. Maybe it’s just me, but it looks like I’m ready for a winter snowstorm (Knocks on wood). So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

See ya,

Events: Mickey: The True Original Exhibition

December 17, 2018

Filed Under : Happenings - Life

Earlier last week, I had a pleasurable experience exploring the Mickey: The True Original Exhibition in NYC. We couldn’t miss Micky’s 90th Birthday bash, especially since the museum has landed in the city. It’s been a while since my last encounter with Mickey Mouse. Thirteen years (Senior Trip) to be exact, and my little buddy hasn’t really aged at all. From all the urban artwork to the nostalgic Mickey Mouse Club diner, Mo and I spent a couple of hours exploring each room within the museum. Plus, we got to walk around in these cool Mickey Mouse ears. How fun! I felt like a little kid all over again! I’m not going to spoil too much about the exhibit, but the pictures speak for themselves. If you have a upcoming trip to NYC and $38 to spare, be sure to pay Mickey a visit. He will appreciate all the fun!

From Micky and friends,
