Happy Sunday everyone! Today, I’m back with another Secondhand Sunday post. As shown above, I decided to step out in this thrifted printed shirt from my local Goodwill. Since it’s rather large in size, I decided to tuck the shirt inside my distressed jeans for a more tailored look. Also, have you noticed the mandarin collar? The shirt’s original collar was a little too large for my personal liking. With a few simple snips, I created this mandarin collar with my handy scissors. WIWT: Tuxedo Jacket

Tuxedo Jacket: Forever21| Shirt: H&M | Jeans: River Island | Sneakers: ASOS

Dressing down any formal jacket is a lot easier than it sounds. Today, I decided to pair my favorite black tuxedo jacket with a simple crew neck tee from H&M. Now, this is not any old simple tee, but a long-sleeved, striped shirt. I bet you can’t guess when I purchased this shirt? 2007! Yes, this shirt is ten years old, and I bet you couldn’t even tell. Continuing on, in order to break up this black and white color scheme, I slid in my fitted skinny jeans from River Island. Of course, I distressed them myself, which is the same narrative as always. Outfit of the Week

Preparing for a rainy day can be a little tricky, even when you have a full set of clothes in your closet. For myself, I typically go with something casual, like double denim. As shown above, the double denim trend works wonders when trying to maintain your style throughout the day. What about those white sneakers in the rain? Obviously there’s no major threat here. Just make sure you throw those jeans in the washer before stepping outside though. Remember, dark or light denim can easily bleed on something white. So, how do you feel about this particular outfit? WIWT: Graphic Jersey

Jersey: Forever21| Sweatpants: TJ Maxx | Sneakers: ASOS

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been trying to be a little more daring with my personal style. Rather than throwing on my usual fitted shirt and skinny jeans, I’ve been adding in a few statement pieces here and there. Recently, I found this printed jersey at Forever21 for $12. Yes, $12! What a steal, right? Since everyone has been on this athletic apparel wave, I thought it would be a great idea to style my printed jersey with a pair of grey sweatpants. Remember those loose fitting sweatpants that we all used to wear to gym class back in the day? As you can see, that’s what I decided to wear with my jersey. Tightly roll up the ankle, and you’re ready to slide into a solid color canvas shoe. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.
