WIWT: Tie Dye Shirt

I’ve been waiting to buy tie dye shirt forever, and just got around to making it Forever21 to pick one up. I intended to get my hands dirty and make one myself. Unfortunately, that didn’t go as planned. Luckily, Forever 21 had a few tie dye shirts reasonably priced. When I say reasonably priced, I’m saying under ten bucks. It doesn’t get much better than that, right? Today, I decided to style my tie dye shirt with a few basics, including a pair of thrifted jeans and saddle shoes. The jeans are rather large, which is the style and look I’ve been going for lately. The two toned saddle shoes add an old school flare to the mix, even older the the 1970s inspired tie dye trend. WIWT: Printed Shirt

Last weekend, I happened to walk in H&M during their annual Fourth of July summer sale. As expected, I left with a bag full of marked down clothes. Most of the shirts I found were $4. That’s a steal, right? It sure is! During the sale, I found this fun tropical patterned shirt. As you can see, this shirt looks great with the right pair of shorts and footwear. More specifically, I went with a pair of slim chino shorts and my favorite woven slip-on sneakers. The yellow shorts are a perfect addition to the overall tropical theme, don’t you think? Outfit of the Week

Happy Fourth of July! I know this is not the most festive outfit, but I still like to dress up for even the most casual cookouts. As shown above, this look consists of a printed, short sleeve button-up, navy dress pants, and woven slip-on sneakers. The word “tropical” is a complete understatement here folks! WIWT: Shades of Red

If you follow me on any of my Social Media account, you will notice that I have incorporated a lot of red into my summer wardrobe. Why? Typically, I’m a sucker for everything yellow. However, I wanted to switch up this season with another color palette. So, red was on my mind. Today, I paired this cranberry colored blazer with a floral print graphic tee from ASOS and these newly distressed skinny jeans from American Eagle. The color gives a bit of raw edge, which is perfect for summer. I also purchased two other tops in this color, and I can’t wait to wear them. So, how do you feel about this particular look?
