It’s the first official day of summer, and I’m here to make the two piece pants suit a little iconic. You can’t go wrong when grab a little inspo from the Queen and King of the music industry, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. From the Everything is Love album, the threads from Ape S**t are more than just iconic, but legendary. As Bey and Jay stand in the Louvre Museum holding hands, their shirtless, contrasting suits ensemble (Beyoncé in pink and Jay-Z in green) manages to keep your attention the entire video. So inspirational! So much so that after an entire year, I created this look to honor such a fashion forward movement. While you can never go wrong with neutrals, this soft pink is a real treat. Hey everyone! It’s the last week of Spring, and I’m here to discuss a fun little trend for next season, striped linen pants. Yup, I said it, linen pants! Why? Simple, linen pants are light weight, crisp, and classic. All that sounds great, but what’s the downside? Good question, but linen pants wrinkle really fast. I mean, really fast! I suggest keeping them on a hanger at all times. Now that we have covered that, let’s get to the outfit itself. Stripes are also big this season, especially when they contrast. The linen pants in combination with the contrasting stripes all make a for a great ensemble. Don’t forget about the retro Reeboks as well. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Sometimes, you have to swap your t-shirts out for a nice, printed button-down. I love my collar shirts just like the next guy. Here I decided to style my thirfted, floral print button-down with a pair of fitted shorts. Just in case you forgot, I am obsessed with floral prints. Duh, that’s a no brainer.
