#WIWT Polo Shirt

August 8, 2018

What I’m Wearing
Polo Shirt | Jeans | Sandals

Who knew that I would be wearing polo shirts well into my thirties? I mean, let’s be honest here, I ‘ve been rocking this particular trend since high school. Needless to say, polo shirts really haven’t gone out of style since then. All that’s really changed is the print though! Over ten years ago, most of your everyday polos were solid colors and worn a tad oversized. In 2018, things have gotten a bit fitted and more eccentric. That being said, today I decided to step out in my newly purchased tropical print short sleeve polo shirt from ASOS. Created a light weight microfiber material, this shirt is completely sweat absorbent. No damp armpits here! Here I styled my polo with a pair of black skinny jeans and grey suede sandals. You can never go wrong with a pair of dark skinnies, right? So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

#WIWT Printed Shirt

What I’m Wearing
Printed Shirt | Denim Shorts | Sneakers

I love a good printed shirt, just as much as I love a deal. Most of my printed shirts are from the thrift store. Why? Well, I never pay anything over $5, in contrast to most retail stores that sell them for $25 and up. Needless to say, I have quite a few hanging in my closet. That being said, I decided to get some wear and tear out this rarely worn, short sleeve printed shirt. Made in silk material, this shirt is perfect for a humid afternoon. It’s flowy and breathable without being super flimsy. Let’s not forget to mention the print itself, simple yet sophisticated. I further styled this shirt with a pair of cut-off denim jeans (I cut these myself) and my newly purchased Adidas Primeknit Sock summer sneakers. For quite some time, I’ve been dying to find a pair, and ASOS had them on sale for $55! So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

See Ya,

#WIWT Linen Suit

What I’m Wearing
Linen Suit | T-Shirt | Sandals

Every once in a while, I get a chance to wear a nice tailored fit. More specifically, a tailored fit suit. Since its summer, I try to keep the garments on the thin side. That being said, the linen suit is one of my all time favorites. Despite a few wrinkles, the linen suit lets great dressed up or down depending on your style. For myself, I like to switch it up with a short sleeve t-shirt or tank. Here I decided to style my linen suit with a tropical print, graphic tee. Tucked in without a belt, the this shirt and suit combo is perfect for Happy Hour after work. Rather than loafers, I decided to throw on my favorite woven sandals. Yes! The grandpa sandals are back again. Before the sun sets, I’ll leave you to your devices. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

#WIWT Co-ord Set

July 18, 2018

What I’m Wearing
Co-ord | Sneakers

OMG! I’ve finally found the perfect co-ord set for the summer! This matching, yellow, tropical print tank and shorts set can be found on ASOS for $15. $15?! Yes, it was that cheap. Keep this one on the low though. I’m going to let you in on a little secret. To be completely transparently, I actually purchased this matching set last winter. Why? For one, it’s a lot cheaper to purchase clothing out of season. When you have  one of those holiday sales, everything left over from the previous season has been marked down. That being said, I’ve had plenty of time to style this particular look since December. Since this particular co-ord is really bright, I decided to tone it down with my dirty Chuck Taylors and knee high socks. This takes us from the tropics to the basketball court. I’m look straight out of a 1980s summer film. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.
