Trend alert! I found these very trendy striped drawstring pants on Forever21’s website last month, and could not wait to wear them! In terms of versatility, the options are pretty endless. Most of your favorite IG models have been rocking their stripes with little to no clothing. So, I decided to join on the fun. Today, I styled my drawstring pants with a black, sheer top from ASOS. Although this top is not completely see through, you can definitely see a silhouette of my torso area. For a little pop of color, I threw on my new summer ready, Vans sneakers. Who would have thought an old trend like rugby shirts would be back in style again this season? Over a decade ago, I can recall my first trip to the Ralph Lauren outlet store in Jackson, NJ to pick out my first rugby shirt. What a journey! Anyhoo, let’s get back to my featured look. Today, I decided to style one of my old Ralph Lauren rugby shirts with a few simple pieces. The light wash skinny jeans and iridescent slip-on sneakers are the perfect balance between leisure and casual apparel. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Today’s post is a partnership with California based lifestyle brand, Caliborn Apparel. This is my new favorite spot for light-weight graphic tees, which go the distance during the warmer months. Their men’s section offer a variety of styles, including short and long sleeve tees. Here, I decided to keep it simple in this Caliborn Bear tri-blend tee. In terms of styling preferences, I have experimented with both tucked and untucked looks. As shown above, I tucked my Calborn Bear tee in my favorite distressed denim jeans. To finish off this look, I slid in to my newly purchased KG Kurt Geiger Brocade slip on loafers. This backless style shoe keeps my bottoms nice a chill, even during the warmest afternoons. Aloha! Are you ready for the first three day Holiday weekend of the season!? I’m so excited to relax by the pool, and enjoy a nice grilled meal. If you have a bunch of cookouts on the agenda, finding the best outfit is a lot easier than it sounds. Since floral prints are back in style again, a Hawaiian shirt is your best bet. Here I decided to style my thrifted Hawaiian shirt with a fun graphic tee. Mixing up prints and graphics is also really trendy this season. Tucked in a pair of dress pants, this conversation shirt is sure get the cookout started. If your feet get a little sweaty, remove those tube socks and rock your Vans barefoot.
