WIWT: Monochromatic

What I’m Wearing
Blazer: Forever21| Tank: ASOS | Jeans: H&M | Boots: ASOS

Happy Hump Day Folks! Today, I decided to put together this little monochromatic look from my grey collection. I know, I know, this outfit is missing all your favorite spring pastel colors. Since I was going for a more “After 5” look, an all grey ensemble was a better option. In terms of style, the single breasted jersey blazer can be dressed down with a simple tee or tank. With the right pair of jeans, you can rock a pair of suede chelsea boots and not feel too under-dressed for the party. What do you think? Let me know in the comments section below.

See you later,

WIWT: Tonal Bomber Jacket

What I’m Wearing
Bomber Jacket: Boohoo| Button-Up: Forever21 | Pants: H&M | Shoes: ASOS

Tonal bomber jackets have made a serious comeback in mainstream fashion this season. You can either style your jacket with a solid tee, tank, or button-up to create a great casual look. Remember, the sky is the limit! For this post, I decided to style my snakeskin tonal bomber jacket with a simple grandad collar shirt and skinny jeans. The white and black color combination help pick up the color from the jacket itself. To dress it up a bit, I decided to throw in my patent leather oxford shoes from ASOS. How do you like to wear bomber jackets? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Peace,

What I’m Wearing
Silk Shirt: Goodwill | Jeans: H&M | Shoes: ASOS

Yes, I’m quite aware that I look straight out of a 90’s r&b boy band with this printed silk shirt, but it’s one of my new personal favorites. Being slightly over-sized and wrinkled, this shirt looks great tucked in or out. Obviously, I couldn’t make a decision as shown above. So, I decided to leave one side tucked in, with the other side draping on the outside of my jeans. Oh, and since we are on the topic, you know I had to bust out the DIY distressed denim jeans for this look. They look really good worn with my double monk strap shoes from ASOS. So, how do you feel about this particular look. Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Peace out,

WIWT: The KRIVE Shop

What I’m Wearing
Sweatshirt: The KRIVE Shop| Jeans: DIY H&M | Shoes: ASOS | Fedora: Belk

This week, I had the opportunity to team up with a Chicago based brand, The KRIVE Shop, to show off a graphic tee from their unisex collection. If you don’t know anything about The Krive Shop, check out their interview on UnregisteredStyle here. As mentioned previously, the featured merchandise, the “My Black is Not for Your Consumption” tee, is a popular seller from the KRIVE shop’s unisex collection. Considered both bold and powerful, this shirt sends a powerful message without being too over the top. It’s kind of a play on words, if you get what I’m saying. Since the shirt is white with a black printed design, I decided to slide in these DIY acid wash denim jeans from H&M and my black, lace-up plimsolls. You can’t go wrong with a full rips and tears in your jeans, right? Not at all! As you already know, I’m the king of wearing graphic tees with distressed jeans. So, this is right up my ally. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.
