Secondhand stores are like gold mines for everything denim, including jeans. You can get every wash, fit, and style for a quarter of the price. You can’t beat that, right? if you don’t believe me, take a look at today’s featured outfit, as shown above. As you can see, I decided to step out in this all gray ensemble. The jeans, at a quick glance, look very a tad worn, in a good way. That’s because they were purchased from the Salvation Army for $4. You can’t beat that right? The remaining pieces were purchased on clearance from other retail stores including H&M, GAP, and DSW Shoe Warehouse. I hope you enjoyed this post. Check back for more updates this week!

Temperature wise, the month of October is a complete free for all! So, how do you prepare? Simple, dress in layers! As shown above, I styled my leather moto jacket with a light weight, denim shirt. Just in case the temperature heats up, I can always make an adjustment by taking off my jacket, leaving the denim shirt and joggers. Speaking of joggers, I’ve been stepping my sweatpants game up lately. These pants in particular were purchased from ASOS. Not only are these joggers in my favorite color family, they are quite unique. I rarely see other men wearing this color out. For a finishing touch, I threw on my old Adidas Sambas from DSW. WIWT: Shades of Black

There’s a lot to be said about a man who wears all black, but I’ll let this post speak for itself. As you can see, I’m all about mixing and matching shades. In this particular case, shades of black. While the shirt is the darkest shade of black, the jeans are more in the charcoal family. Even still, the shirt and jeans manage to compliment each other quite well. To elevate this look further, I slid in to my new suede, chelsea boots from ASOS. Not only are these boots comfortable, they are great to wear on a nice day outside. Before you leave the house though, make sure you have a pair of back up shoes just in case it rains. Suede and water are a big NO NO! So, be careful.

What I’m Wearing

In the last year, the oversized trend has become more popular than ever before. After all, it was only a matter of time before all the cool kids would start channeling their inner 90’s grunge. Take for instance, the outfit shown above. From head to toe, this look screams “Large AF.” For starters, the Ralph Lauren hoodie is an extra large, which is not my typical size. Even still, it looks great when worn with a longline tee and a retro pair of New Balances. The denim jeans were purchased from the Salvation Army as well. Since I’m into little DIY projects, I distressed them myself. So, if you are looking for some oversized pieces, take a trip to your local thrift store. I’m sure you will find some great gems there!
