WIWT: Bleached Denim

What I’m Wearing
Jeans: Levis | Shirt: GAP | Shoes: Thrifted

Rather than making a few donations this summer, I decided to keep around some of my old denim jeans and attempt a few DIY projects. As you already know, this is not my first or second time dabbling in the creative realm. I actually enjoy experimenting on my clothes quite often, especially with bleach. With that being said, I decided to create these bleached out denim jeans. Styled with a oxford shirt and loafers, the large washed out colors add for a nice rugged touch. Side note, I got a little bleach happy and went a little crazy on both pant legs. Needless to say, the project was still a success. So, how do you feel about this particular look? What I’m Wearing
Tank: H&M | Shorts: H&M | Shoes: Converse

It’s only in the last five years that I’ve learned to appreciate horizontal stripes. More specifically, bold stripes. The bolder the better baby! I’m happy to say that bold stripes have completely taken over my wardrobe. Today, I decided to show of this navy blue and white striped tank top from H&M. Tank tops in general can be styled in variety in ways. For this particular look, I decided to keep it casual in my roll-up chino shorts and Chuck Taylors. Interesting fact, these chino shorts were pants once upon a time. You know I’m good for a slight alteration or two. So, how do you feel about this partiuclar look? What I’m Wearing
Pants: Godwill | Shirt: ASOS | Hat: NxN | Sandals: ASOS

Traditionally worn with a matching sport coat and dress shirt, seer sucker pants are one of the best kept secrets of summer. Why? Versatility of course! Seer sucker in general can be worn with the palest of the pales and the brightest of the brights. They can also be dressed up or down, depending on your particular. For myself, I like dressing down my seer sucker pants with the most basic pieces. Take, for instance, the outfit shown above. I decided to keep it simple with a solid color crew neck shirt from ASOS and a pair of woven suede sandals.  Even further, I decided to style my look with a fun baseball cap from NxN. NxN? My brother blog, UnregisteredStyle, recently did a post on their brand a little while ago. You can check out the full post here. Don’t forget to check out their website as well. WIWT: Tie Dye Shirt

What I’m Wearing
T-shirt: Forever21 | Jeans: Thrifted | Shoes: G.H. Bass

I’ve been waiting to buy tie dye shirt forever, and just got around to making it Forever21 to pick one up. I intended to get my hands dirty and make one myself. Unfortunately, that didn’t go as planned. Luckily, Forever 21 had a few tie dye shirts reasonably priced. When I say reasonably priced, I’m saying under ten bucks. It doesn’t get much better than that, right? Today, I decided to style my tie dye shirt with a few basics, including a pair of thrifted jeans and saddle shoes. The jeans are rather large, which is the style and look I’ve been going for lately. The two toned saddle shoes add an old school flare to the mix, even older the the 1970s inspired tie dye trend. So, how do you feel about this look? Feel free and share in the comments section below.
