What I’m Wearing
Bowling Shirt | Jeans | Loafers

Yay, it’s my Birthday! First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for all the love! I really can’t express my gratitude enough for all the love and appreciation today. It really means a lot guys! Thank you so much!

This morning, I decided to venture over to my favorite local diner, White Dotte Dairy Bar & Grill. Side note, South Jersey is notoriously known for its corner lot diners. I guess that’s the Jersey shore rubbing off on us. Anyway, White Dotte has some really great breakfast food. My personal favorite is the garden omelette with home fries. So delicious! Plus, the fun retro bar stools and contrasting panels are straight out of a 1950s movie. Think Happy Days, with a modern twist. Plus, every stuff member makes you feel right at home. They were even kind enough to share their wonderful space for my Birthday photoshoot. As you can see, I too embellished in the 1950s theme (Giving you a little black Elvis baby)!

Anyhow, what did you do for your Birthday this year? Please share in the comments section below! I’m excited to hear!

Thanks for all the love once again,

#WIWT Polo Shirt

What I’m Wearing
Polo Shirt | Jeans | Sandals

Who knew that I would be wearing polo shirts well into my thirties? I mean, let’s be honest here, I ‘ve been rocking this particular trend since high school. Needless to say, polo shirts really haven’t gone out of style since then. All that’s really changed is the print though! Over ten years ago, most of your everyday polos were solid colors and worn a tad oversized. In 2018, things have gotten a bit fitted and more eccentric. That being said, today I decided to step out in my newly purchased tropical print short sleeve polo shirt from ASOS. Created a light weight microfiber material, this shirt is completely sweat absorbent. No damp armpits here! Here I styled my polo with a pair of black skinny jeans and grey suede sandals. You can never go wrong with a pair of dark skinnies, right? So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Peace,

#WIWT Printed Shirt

What I’m Wearing
Printed Shirt | Denim Shorts | Sneakers

I love a good printed shirt, just as much as I love a deal. Most of my printed shirts are from the thrift store. Why? Well, I never pay anything over $5, in contrast to most retail stores that sell them for $25 and up. Needless to say, I have quite a few hanging in my closet. That being said, I decided to get some wear and tear out this rarely worn, short sleeve printed shirt. Made in silk material, this shirt is perfect for a humid afternoon. It’s flowy and breathable without being super flimsy. Let’s not forget to mention the print itself, simple yet sophisticated. I further styled this shirt with a pair of cut-off denim jeans (I cut these myself) and my newly purchased Adidas Primeknit Sock summer sneakers. For quite some time, I’ve been dying to find a pair, and ASOS had them on sale for $55! So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

See Ya,

Music Monday: Cleaning the House

Happy Monday! Not sure what’s been going on with me lately, but I’ve been in the cleaning spirit. Every day when I come home from work, I’m scrubbing something. Not saying that I wasn’t clean before, but even the smallest amount of dust has been catching my eye. As I go through these cleaning binges, I love listening to relaxing music. That being said, check out my playlist below:

  1. “La Brea,” Alex Isley
  2. “Luv U,” BOSCO
  3. “Imperfect Circle,” Jorja Smith
  4. “Distraction,” RAYE
  5. “Sunset,” Slaudin
  6. “Say What You Mean,” Sinead Harnett
  7. “Wife You Up,” Russ
  8. “How U Want It,” Rochelle Jordan
  9. “Kisses,” Reva DeVito
  10. “The Wonder Years,” Jesse Boykins III
