Events: Haute Bungalow Boutique’s Official Expansion Celebration

Happy Monday friends! It’s been a minute since my last outing, but I’ve been doing a lot of domestic traveling lately. Remember, I just got back from Napa, CA not too long ago :). You can check out the post here. As I get back into my networking routine, I’m so excited to you bring you some new content. Recently, Katurrah and I had an opportunity to attend a luxury expansion event in Marlton, NJ. Hosted by Haute Bungalow Boutique, the VIP Expansion-Unveiling Event was a great success. Katurrah and I spent the evening chatting it up and sipping on wine. We were even able to get a sneak a peek at their upcoming collection. Perfect for a fun packed afternoon of random shenanigans, utility wear has become a very popular trend that I really adore. Fortunately, it’s becoming even more mainstream than it ever was before. Here I decided to tackle the utility trend in an interesting way. If you don’t want to over embellish, style only one utilitarian item at a time. My utility vest, which was purchased from Amazon, is ideal for functionality. There are just so many pockets! I’m sure I’ll never forget my wallet or keys again. This type of statement piece should be worn with a simple tee or tank (I went with the ladder of course). Even further, I styled my utility vest with these fun drop crotch, tapered smart pants from ASOS. Who would have thought that work attire would look so good? My greatest ambition right now is to show my personality through the art of fashion and style. Every time I walk out the door, I want my clothes to capture the unique essence of Bryce Lennon. Fun, moody, passionate, goofy, anxious, determined are just a few characteristics of myself. As of today, right now, I’m feeling quite enthusiastic about life, especially since I received this amazing opportunity to partner with Express! Hence the floral print t-shirt. We all know that all our favorite flowers represent zest for life, and I am currently on that wave. In the same breath, these slim fit chinos can complete your entire look. Review – Elements Grey Leather & Fig Fragrance

This week, I’ve partnered with EXPRESS Men to share the perfect scent for the season! From date nights to weddings, the Elements Grey Leather & Fig Fragrance For Men is the perfect transition fragrance from spring to summer. With help from the Express Honor Body Spray, you are sure to make it part of your daily routine. If interested, you can find both scents on EXPRESS.

Here are the official fragrance details from the EXPRESS website:

Whether he prefers a casual and relaxed scent or something confident and charming, Express cologne will be his new signature fragrance. You can’t have too many attractive-smelling cologne options, so this men’s gift is a winner every time.”

With all that being said, I decided to go ahead and describe the cologne in it’s entirety below.

Packaging

The Grey Leather & Fig bottle comes packaged in the white box that’s easy to open. The bottle itself is simple, but sleek. It’s nicely shaped, clear glass figure is small enough to carry in your pocket. You will always know how much liquid is left due to it’s light weight and transparency. In contrast, the Honor Body Spray is completely solid, and looks very reminiscent of a drug store body spray bottle.

Value

Using my eGift Card, I purchased my fragrances from EXPRESS, where the 1.7 Oz. Grey Leather & Fig bottle ran for $34.90 (And I never received my free water bottle as advertised on the website) and the 4.2 Oz. Honor Body Spray was $14.90. I find that both fragrances have nice casual smells, which can last for an entire work day. Dope! I’m sure both of these bottles will last a very long time. Plus, they are of great value.

Overall

Since I’m still stepping my cologne game up, these smell goods get the job done. I’m going to stick with these EXPRESS Since for a while, before testing out more expensive brands.
