Lifestyle: Staying Busy During the Coronavirus Pandemic

During the Coronavirus Pandemic, Mo and I have been social distancing ourselves from the world. Staying inside more or less, and occupying our time with productive tasks. I’ve even found a new location to take photos through Google Maps. Hence, the featured photoshoot. To my original point, there are quite a few ways to make the most out of your day during this pandemic. Here are a few tips below!

Developing New Content: If you’re a blogger, influencer, or creative, this is the best time to develop some new content. For example, I’ve mapped out IG color palette a month in advance. Now, I have more time to focus on some of my other hobbies.

Wellness: Since the gym has been closed for a couple weeks now, I’ve been getting a little creative with my workout routines. There are many indoor, fitness videos on Youtube to watch. Try it out! I have incorporated yoga, meditation, and an intense upper body workouts in to my daily routine. Thanks Youtube!

Avoiding gossip: From social media to your anxious Auntie, Everyone has something to say about coronavirus. Stick with the facts people! Don’t believe the rumor mill unless it comes from a credible source. There is no need to add any more chaos with a bunch of he said she said news. As an alternative, check your local news or the coronavirus app for updated information.

Rearrange your closet: Rearranging your closet can be a little exhausting, especially if you don’t know where to start. Utilize your resources to develop a strategy before diving in right away. Pinterest is my go-to app for this kind of stuff.

Stay safe,

#WIWT Poetic Justice

What I’m Wearing
T-Shirt | Jacket | Jeans | Sneakers

On the strength of the cast alone, Poetic Justice is one of the most underrated films of the 90s. You have strong performances from Janet Jackson, Regina King, and the late 2pac Shakur. Such a well rounded group if I must say so myself. Nearly twenty seven years later, Poetic Justice has a place in 90s nostalgia. Case in point: this Poetic Justice inspired graphic t-shirt. I went to Target last week, and found this shirt. Since it was a little tighter than expected, I went up a size. Perfect fit! It’s one of those shirts that look great tucked in a pair of distressed jeans, as shown above. Oh, let’s not forget the moto jacket. This shirt looks great with a little leather too. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free and share in the comments section below.

#WIWT Fanny Pack

What I’m Wearing
Fanny Pack | Coat | Hoodie | Pants | Sneakers

The word “fanny back” brings back so many nostalgic memories. I recall a time when my parents took us to Disney World, and our belongings were stuffed into these large fanny packs. They were large, colorful, and kept everything safe. What more could you want? Fast forward to 2020, the fanny pack has evolved from a traveling accessory to a fashion trend. High end brands like Gucci, Armani, and Prada have jumped in on the trend as well. That said, here I decided to get some good use out of my Coach fanny pack (Mo got the hook-up 🙂 ). It’s been a while since I’ve worn this one out, so I paired it with a long puffer jacket and hoodie. By worn out, I mean outside of work. Ha! So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free and share in the comments section below.

Thanks,

Outfit of the Week
Puffer Jacket | Hoodie | Sweats | Sneakers

I’ve barricaded myself in the house ever since the Corona Virus hit New Jersey last week. Am I scared? Not really, but I would rather be prepared the worse. So, I’ve been trying to limit my contact with people for the most part. We have to stay healthy folks! That said, I’ve been relaxing all week in my matching sweatsuits. You know, dad style. Just in case I get a little can fever, a puffer jacket and sneakers goes a long way when stepping outside. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below!
