Last weekend, I happened to walk in H&M during their annual Fourth of July summer sale. As expected, I left with a bag full of marked down clothes. Most of the shirts I found were $4. That’s a steal, right? It sure is! During the sale, I found this fun tropical patterned shirt. As you can see, this shirt looks great with the right pair of shorts and footwear. More specifically, I went with a pair of slim chino shorts and my favorite woven slip-on sneakers. The yellow shorts are a perfect addition to the overall tropical theme, don’t you think? Outfit of the Week

Happy Fourth of July! I know this is not the most festive outfit, but I still like to dress up for even the most casual cookouts. As shown above, this look consists of a printed, short sleeve button-up, navy dress pants, and woven slip-on sneakers. The word “tropical” is a complete understatement here folks! WIWT: Shades of Red

If you follow me on any of my Social Media account, you will notice that I have incorporated a lot of red into my summer wardrobe. Why? Typically, I’m a sucker for everything yellow. However, I wanted to switch up this season with another color palette. So, red was on my mind. Today, I paired this cranberry colored blazer with a floral print graphic tee from ASOS and these newly distressed skinny jeans from American Eagle. The color gives a bit of raw edge, which is perfect for summer. I also purchased two other tops in this color, and I can’t wait to wear them. So, how do you feel about this particular look? I was recently inspired by this printed bomber jacket look over at Forever21, and I couldn’t wait to create something similar. As you can see above, I styled this Gucci, floral print bomber jacket with a short sleeve graphic tee and distressed denim shorts. Remember, jackets and shorts can be a hit or miss.
