#WIWT Selena Graphic T-Shirt

T-Shirt | Shorts| Sandals

Tucked in graphic tees have been my “thing” all summer, and the trend didn’t stop today. As shown above, I decided to keep it super casual in my Selena tee from Target. The shirt itself has a very vibrant color scheme, pulling inspiration from Andy Warhol’s infamous pop art effect. Since the shirt is black, I decided to add a little pop of color with these pink chino shorts from ASOS. Why pink? Easy! Some of the colors from the imagery are in fact pink. So why not pull a little color from that? Finishing off, I decided to embrace my inner “Shoobie” with this tube sock and hiking sandal combo. For the record, the term Shoobie originated from one of my favorite childhood tv shows in Nickelodeon, Rocket Power. So, how do you feel about this particular look? #WIWT Printed Shirt

What I’m Wearing
Printed Shirt | Jeans | Boots

Happy Hump Day everyone! Today I decided to have a little fun with my favorite summer trend, the printed shirt. I know, this particular style of shirt has been featured quite a few times. More specifically, a couple weeks ago here. Since that’s the case, we need to keep this post short. Here I styled my rather oversized printed shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans and suede chelsea boots. I had to make a few adjustments to accommodate it’s large size. For starters, the sleeves were too long. With four simple rolls, the sleeves are cuffed above the elbow. Next, the shirt is also rather flowy, and required a little bit of a half tuck. Half tuck? OOTW: 4th of July Cookout

Outfit of the Week
Denim Shirt | Tank | Shorts | Sneakers

To be honest, I can’t say that I’m the most patriotic person, but summer cookouts are my thing. Plus, who doesn’t look a good cookout ensemble? I know I certainly do. That being said, I decided to create this festive 4th of July cookout outfit. Since I’ll most likely be beach or poolside tomorrow, I thought it would really fun to throw on these star spangled banner swim trunks. Aren’t they fun?! Since these shorts are very colorful, I decided to tone them down with a short sleeve, denim shirt and white racerback tank. Since it’s going to be a hot one tomorrow, I’ll more than likely keep the denim shirt in my bag. Large armpit, sweat stains are a no go for me. So, how do you feel about this particular look? I stumbled across this longline shirt on ASOS not too long ago, and I immediately had to order one for myself! It’s super long fit looks good with a pair of trousers, including track pants. Tell me that doesn’t sound interesting. Here I decided to style my longline shirt with a pair of distressed skinny jeans. These too are from ASOS. Did I forget to mention that I distressed them myself? I kept the footwork simple with my suede chelsea boots. So, how do you feel about this particular look?
