#WIWT Bold Striped Pants

It’s imperative that you stay ahead of the curve and include vertical stripes into your wardrobe this summer. I, for one, have taken full advantage of this trend. So much so, that I have purchased about three pair of striped pants over the last month. Of course, I didn’t pay full price. Since we are taking about price, I picked up these bold striped pants from ASOS for $15. A steal, right? I further styled my trousers with this black Metallica tee shirt. This navy blue trench coat got me feeling like a detective in a spy movie. I’m a sucker for anything full length, and thrifted makes it even better. Today, I decided to style my coat with an all black ensemble. This includes a sweatshirt and dresspants. You know, that’s been my “go-to” lately. A little grandpa flair. #WIWT Fleece Harlem Sweatshirt

It’s the first day of snow, and it feels so good! To be completely transparent, I’m not even a snow kind of guy, but all the white flurries in the air look quite magical. That being said, I decided to step out today in my newly purchased fleece knit sweatshirt from Forever21. With “Harlem 95” printed across the chest, this fire engine red sweatshirt looks great when styled with a pair of tweed joggers from Boohoo. Let’s not forget to mention the longline puffer jacket from ASOS, which adds for a nice sleek look. As you can see, I’m definitely staying warm in the snow with my comfy sweatshirt. Events: Sea Monsters HERE

Surprise! We are less than two weeks away from Halloween, and a purple sea monster taken over Building 611 at Philadelphia’s Navy Yard. Creepy, right?! On Monday, October 8th, this huge inflatable structure was unveiled to the public, to a full crowd of eager spectators. Twenty, forty foot long, purple tentacles were created and installed by a well-known UK street art duo, Filthy Luker and Pedro Estrellas, who were commissioned by Group X. As shown above, each tentacle is bursting out of windows, while “squirming” in the wind. I had an opportunity to check out the structure yesterday, and I have to say, it was truly amazing. Since I love everything monster related, this was a big deal for me. If you live in the Philly area, be sure to check out #navyyardseamonster at Flagship Avenue and 13th Street before the creature heads back into the water on November 16th.
