OOTD: November 2016
Outfit of the Week
Jacket: TOPMAN | Shirt: HUGO BOSS | Pants: Lords of Harlech | Boots: Superdry

Contrast, contrast, and more contrast! I love mix matching different patterns, colors, and textures together. For this particular post, it’s all about stripes and suede. Black and brown are usually the perfect contrasting colors to mix  together. That being said, the brown suede jacket looks great when worn over the striped shirt. Let’s not forget about the skinny jeans and chelsea boots! They definitely add a nice final touch. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below!

WIWT: Festival Cape

November 1, 2017

What I’m Wearing
Cape: ASOS | Tee: ASOS | Jeans: ASOS | Boots: ASOS

The woven festival cape, aka the Poncho, is one of the most in-demand items this season. Regarded as the ultimate statement piece, the festival cape will keep your body warm and comfortable, as it can be worn both indoors and outdoors. Today, I decided to take my own advice and go with a bold option. The featured navy and white festival cape may seem like an odd choice. However, it completely gets the job done! It’s thick, woven fabric has proven full durability. Plus, it looks rather sleek when worn with an all black ensemble. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Outfit of the Week
Topcoat: Linea Holborn | Sweater: French Connection | Pants: Trouva

This is the perfect “Trying to hold on to my youth” type of outfit. First, you have the topcoat, which is long enough to keep your entire outfit a mystery. Then, you have that simple old crewneck sweater for all those long hours spent in the office. Next up, we have the ever so popular wool trousers, which all the youngsters are wearing these days. This outfit seems mildly mature for the most part, until you get to the footwear. The retro Chuck Taylors are like man’s best friend, especially if you were born before the new millennium. WIWT: Flannel Shirt Around the Waist

October 25, 2017

What I’m Wearing
Flannel Shirt: Ralph Lauren |Sweatshirt: ASOS | Jeans: H&M | Sneakers: Vans

I know the tied shirt around the waist look has been a little played for quite some time now, but it’s still super appealing to me. The 90s phenomena made such a comeback in 2013, that it was completely watered down the following year. Even still, I love tying an old flannel button-down over a simple solid color sweatshirt, as shown above. This is the perfect transitional outfit for layering, especially between seasons. I also believe that the customized distressed denim skinny jeans and Sk8 Hi Vans are my new favorite combo for the season. In conjunction with the shirt tied around the waist trend, this casual look is practical, yet stylish at the same time. So, how do you feel about this particular look?
