WIWT: Tweed Topcoat

What I’m Wearing
Coat: ASOS | Turtleneck: KOHLS | Pants: ASOS | Boots: DSW

It’s another week, another turtleneck sweater. Lately, my under tops have been quite repetitive. I’ve been wearing turtleneck sweaters since the first day of winter, and I’m not laying off until Spring. Anyhow, today I decided to style my old white turtleneck sweater with my newly purchased tweed overcoat. Like my turtleneck sweaters, I’ve been wearing this particular coat all winter as well. Since I’m short, it’s full length covers most of my body. Plus, the pockets are nice and big. Continuing on, I further styled my coat with a pair of drop crotch cargo pants. Looking good, right? WIWT: Duster Coat

The duster coat is not your usual winter statement piece. It’s light weight material is best for the fall. Since our temperatures have been mild (With snow), the duster coat is a great alternative to your topcoat. Here I decided to style my full length duster coat with a black turtle neck, distressed jeans, and tassel loafers. Distressed jeans in the winter? I can’t emphasize this enough, but distressed jeans can be worn in the winter. You just have to know when to wear them, temperature wise. As mentioned previously, the temperature has been very mild lately. So, distressed jeans and sock-less shoes are appropriate for this particular look. So, how do you feel about this particular look? OOTW: Hockey Jersey

Outfit of the Week
Jersey: Macys | Jacket: Levis | Pants: TOPMAN | Sneakers: Adidas

Earlier this month, I told myself to invest in an athletic jersey before the season changes. Why? Well, athletic apparel in general is back in style. That being said, I’ve been eyeing hockey jerseys for the last couple of weeks. For inspiration, I decided to put this simple look together consisting of a Rangers jersey, denim jacket, cargo pants, and ADIDAS sneakers. Although the jersey and sock style sneakers are bit casual, the denim jacket and cargo pants dress it up just a tad. How do you feel about this particular look? Hey everyone! I decided to kick off the week with another #SecondhandSunday post. So, first up, let’s talk about this amazing thrifted, printed button-down shirt I found at the Goodwill. If you know me, you should understand my philosophy on prints in general. It’s all about mix and matching colors and patterns. So 90s, right? Continuing with this theme, I decided to style the shirt with my favorite wool topcoat and corduroy pants. This shows you how to get a little adventurous with your color choices.
