So, I’m back again with another seasonal staple. This time, it’s all about the bold, color block festival cape from ASOS. Both lightweight and festive, this fun outer-piece looks great when layered over some denim pieces, as shown above. More specifically, the “Canadian Tuxedo” compliments the accessory quite well. Canadian Tuxedo? You know, the denim jacket and jeans combo. For a finishing touch, I kept it smooth in my favorite leather chelsea boots. So, how do you feel about this particular look? I probably should have saved this look for my next “Secondhand Sunday” post, but I couldn’t resist. Here I decided to style my latest thrifted find, the denim shirt, with an old turtleneck sweater and harem pants. Sometimes, it’s best to break up an all black outfit with another color or print, as shown above. As you can see, denim was the best option. So, how do you feel about this particular look? It’s a fact, I have a healthy obsession with stripes. So much so that I try to incorporate a striped garment into my outfit at least once a week. That being said, check out the featured look above. WIWT: Monochromatic

If you haven’t noticed, I am the king of monochromatic looks. In a previous post found here, I had the whole grandpa, grey sweatsuit going on. This time, I decided to take it step further with this gym teacher appropriate ensemble. With a graphic sweatshirt and dress slacks, the two navy separates go together quite well. To break it up a bit, I decided to throw on my favorite camel coat. The navy and camel compliment each other quite well. So, how do you feel about this particular look?
