#WIWT Linen Suit

Every once in a while, I get a chance to wear a nice tailored fit. More specifically, a tailored fit suit. Since its summer, I try to keep the garments on the thin side. That being said, the linen suit is one of my all time favorites. Despite a few wrinkles, the linen suit lets great dressed up or down depending on your style. For myself, I like to switch it up with a short sleeve t-shirt or tank. Here I decided to style my linen suit with a tropical print, graphic tee. Tucked in without a belt, the this shirt and suit combo is perfect for Happy Hour after work. Rather than loafers, I decided to throw on my favorite woven sandals. Yes! OOTW: Dragon Ball Z

Back in the day, I spent many mornings watching Dragon Ball Z before getting on the school bus. I’m not sure exactly why the show came on so early in the morning. Nevertheless, I was here for it! In honor of this amazing Anime, I decided to create this Dragon Ball Z inspired look. Since graphic tee and slacks are a new combo, I decided to style this navy blue shirt with these plaid stovepipe pants. This color combo may be an odd choice for summer, but I guarantee that you will stay cool in these thin garments. So, how do you feel about this particular look? #WIWT Co-ord Set

OMG! I’ve finally found the perfect co-ord set for the summer! This matching, yellow, tropical print tank and shorts set can be found on ASOS for $15. $15?! Yes, it was that cheap. Keep this one on the low though. I’m going to let you in on a little secret. To be completely transparently, I actually purchased this matching set last winter. Why? For one, it’s a lot cheaper to purchase clothing out of season. When you have one of those holiday sales, everything left over from the previous season has been marked down. That being said, I’ve had plenty of time to style this particular look since December. Since this particular co-ord is really bright, I decided to tone it down with my dirty Chuck Taylors and knee high socks. This takes us from the tropics to the basketball court. #WIWT Baseball Jersey

Happy Hump Day everyone! As you can see above, I decided to keep it “real” casual today with this non sports affiliated baseball jersey from Forever21. The jersey itself has a very relaxed fit, and it looks great over a t-shirt or tank. Rather than wearing it a pair shorts, I decided to throw on an old pair of khakis from work. Speaking of work, most of my cowokers wear hiking sandals in the office (I work with a bunch of cool Geographers). Needless to say, they inspired me to get a pair of my own.
