I’ve been slacking on my thrifster ways lately. Come to think about it, I can’t remember the last time I made a pit stop to the thrift store. Why, what’s going on Bryce Lennon? You know life in general! I’ve been working on this special project called “The Love Experience,” which has been taking up most of my free time. When you get a chance check it our here. Luckily, I had a chance to stop the Goodwill between a photoshoot this week. The word excited is an understatement. I was ecstatic to be back! Within five minutes of wondering around, I found this oversized geometric print sweater with my name written all over it. Of course, I had to take it home. As shown above, I styled my sweater with a camel overcoat and black dress pants. This is definitely one of those 80s type of looks, especially with the Chucks. If someone told that in in the future I would be a soccer dad, I’d say, “No freaking way!” My life is pretty simple right, but adding a family to the mix would be pretty interesting, yet pretty darn cool. I can see it now, it’s Saturday morning and my routine is set for the day. Make breakfast, hop in the family SUV, grab all the kids for the game, and off to the fields we go! Clearly, I have a slight issue with idealization, but it doesn’t hurt to dream big! In the event that this becomes a reality, I need to start preparing for my future wardrobe like yesterday. Today, I put together this “I’m headed to the kid’s game” fit. As a future soccer dad, I plan to maintain a minimal lifestyle, nothing too flashy or over the top, yet I’m still cool enough to get featured in one of those fancy street style magazines. To this point, my soccer dad attire is conveniently equipped with a zipped up jacket, a random t-shirt, and of course, yesterday’s work pants. Who has time to throw on jeans when your favorite work pants are folded right in front of you? To top it off, the dirty Chucks are must! They absorb grass stains quite well. When you want to dive into some earth tones this season, why not consider a shade of brown? It’s versatile enough to be worn year round. Plus, it matches nature itself, what’s better than that? I’ll give you a moment to think that over. In the meantime, allow me to embellish upon my wool overcoat. It’s brown and looks great in the wilderness. I practically blend in. Plus, this particular shade of brown is rather unique. Why? I just haven’t seen too many shades of brown like this one before. Let’s make this clear, I’m not talking abut no caramel, burnt sienna, or citron. This particular shade of brown is one of a kind. So, how do you feel about this particular look?
