Music Monday: St. Patty’s Day

March 11, 2019

I’m low key hype about St. Patty’s Day this year. Why St. Patty’s Day? It’s just a great time to fellowship with great people and explore the city of Philadelphia. My friends and I have been celebrating it together since 2012, except for 2017, but that’s a whole other conversation. I decided to putt his little St. Patty’s Day playlist together since I’m in such a festive mood. All of the tracks make references to alcohol. Be prepared! Be sure to check out the full playlist below:

  1. “Cheers (Drink to that),” Rihanna
  2. “Drink it Straight,” Gucci Mane
  3. “How Many Drinks,” Miguel
  4. “My Drink n’ My 2 Step,” Cassidy

Music Monday: Tamar Braxton Wins Celebrity Big Brother

February 18, 2019

After three long weeks, Tamar Braxton was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother season 2! Not only did she beat former NFL player, RIcky Williams, with a unanimous vote, she became the first African American to win the game. Did I forget to mention that she also broke the first one in the house curse? Who knew that Tamar would have so many records under her belt?

In the house, Tamar had a reputation for being very over the top, emotional, and dramatic. Let’s not forget to mention her pre-game drama fueled rivalry with Real Housewife Kandi. WIth that being said, the baby Braxton sister was a potential early boot. However, Tamar proved everyone wrong as she aligned herself with Lolo Jones, Natalie Eva Marie, and Ricky early on in the game, which kept her protected. Once she was able to put her differences to the side with Kandi, Tamar became less of a threat, and more of an after thought.

At the end of the day, Tamar won the hearts of the Big Brother family. It is for this honor, that I have created this playlist on the behalf of Tamar Braxton herself. Be sure to check out the full playlist below:

  1. “All the Way Home,” Tamar Braxton
  2. “Love and War,” Tamar Braxton
  3. “The One,” Tamar Braxton
  4. “Let Me Know,” Tamar Braxton
  5.  “Circles,” Tamar Braxton
  6. “Love and War,” Tamar Braxton
  7. “Love It,” Tamar Braxton
  8. “Hol’ Up,” Tamar Braxton
  9. “Tip Toe,” Tamar Braxton
  10. “Hot Sugar,” Tamar Braxton
