Review – No, Thank You™: Skincare Routine

December 11, 2021

Hey everyone, and welcome back to the blog!

If you’ve been a BryceLennon.com reader for a while, you’ll notice that my evening, skincare routine is very simplistic (Perhaps, I’m being a little critical here). I have my good old facial cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. They’re pretty standard, and yet, I desire something more specialized (My face is unique, and deserves more of an investment). That being said, I’m looking to enhance my skincare routine with some new options.

Luckily, the team over at No, Thank You™ (A West Coast based company that specializes in CBD concentrated skincare and positive energy) read my mind and sent some new facial products to sample. No, Thank You™?  If they sound familiar, I reviewed their “A Cream For Relief” product here.

So, without further ado, lets take a closer look at the products below:

Value

The No, Thank You™ team is selling “A Facial Cleanser For Anytime” for $35, “An Oil For All Day” for $58, and “A Mask For Night” for $58 as well. If you have an little extra money to spend around the holiday seasons, you should get all three of these items.

The Routine

No, Thank You™ skincare aims to be the world’s most trusted skincare brand. They work towards that goal with patience, love, and care! Their products help clear your skin of the day’s impurities and seals moisture as you sleep. Speaking of sleep, lets get to this evening skincare routine!

Step 1

A Facial Cleanser For Anytime
How to Use:
After rinsing your face and neck with water, gently massage the product into your skin. Rinse with lukewarm water thoroughly.
The Good: I love the black color! I wasn’t expecting it at all. In addition, the cleanser was easy to rinse off.
The Bad: Nothing at all!

Step 2

An Oil For All Day
How to Use: Apply gently to clean skin before moisturizing after rinsing your face and neck with water.
The Good: It’s thick, but not too thick. Nice and smooth! Plus, I love the smell.
The Bad: Nothing at all!

Step 3

A Mask For Night
How to Use:
Before using, give it a good shake. Before going to bed, massage clean skin in a circular motion. Wash in the morning to get rid of it.
The Good: My skin felt great the next day.
The Bad: Nothing at all!

Overall

There you have it folks! That’s the No, Thank You™ evening routine. So far, I’ve had a lot of fun with these products, but it’s going to take some time before I notice some full results.

You can shop all of the things below if you wish to try out any of these stuff. From the previous post, I also linked my dress and shoes.

Review – No, Thank You™: A Cream For Relief

Hey everyone, and welcome back to the blog! Today, I’m sharing my recent collaboration with No, Thank You™, a West Coast based company that specializes in CBD concentrated skincare and positive energy! Still confused? Just in case you missed the boat, check out their website found here!

Source: No, Thank You Skincare

As a runner, I experience random pain in my joints. More specifically, my knees are often irritated after a long run. I’ve been looking for a new cream or serum to reduce the pain.

Don’t get me wrong, using an ice pack or two can get the job done, but I’m looking for an alternative. Sitting with a cold compress on your joints is the last thing I want to do before hitting the sack. I was fortunate enough to receive a sample from No, Thank You™. They sent over their signature  “A Cream For Relief” product.

Packaging

As most skincare products, “A Cream For Relief” arrived in a small box. Reminder, they sent a sample size, and not the entire bottle. That said, I didn’t expect a large package.

The cream itself was placed inside a clear, 15 ml container, with a black screw lid to open.

Value

For a regular size, 50 ml container, the No, Thank You™ team is selling “A Cream For Relief” for $95. Although it’s a little on the pricy side, its still in the ball park for most high end skincare prices.  If you ask me, it’s worth the money!

Product

According to the official website, “Massage into affected area area until the cream is absorbed. Feel the tingle!” It’s that simple.

I applied the cream using two fingertips, and gently applied it to my pain areas. Make sure you don’t use too much, since the scent is strong. You don’t want to smell like a walking peppermint the entire day.

Within seconds, I felt the tingling sensation. After a couple days of use, the pain in my knees reduced significantly, especially while running.

A Cream for Relief
The Good: Pain reduction! Plus, I love the peppermint scent.
The Bad: Nothing at all!

Overall

This was my first time using a CBD cream, and I was more than satisfied! On a high school grading scale, I would give “A Cream for Relief” an A+ for effort and execution. Now that I found a solution to my achy knees, I’m really excited to get the full size, 50 ml cream!

Nikita Wilson: Beauty Chemist Replenish Creme Oil

August 6, 2020

Hey everyone! Today, I’m back to share my recent collaboration with Nikita Wilson Beauty Chemist. Haven’t heard of them? You should definitely check out their website found here!

Source: Nikita Wilson Beauty Chemist

Nikita Wilson Beauty Chemist sent me their Replenish Creme Oil for Hair & Body, and I absolutely loved it! Not only was my hair moisturized, my skin felt so smooth. Yes, this product is for your skin as well! Want more? When you get a chance, take a look at my YouTube video describing my experience, found below:

Packaging

As most hair products, the Creme Oil was boxed up and wrapped in tissue paper. In addition, there were no leaks or cracks found on its surface.

Value

For a 7.5 oz bottle, Nikita Wilson Beauty Chemist is selling their Creme Oil for $19. That’s pretty cheap, right? I think it’s a steal if you ask me. Since this product can be used for your hair and skin, it’s worth the money! Hopefully, they decide to create a bundle package to cut the cost down for customers even more. Wishful thinking!

Product

According to the directions, this is one of those post shower type of products. That said, you want to make sure your hair is damp or wet before applying. The same for your body as well.

Replenish Creme Oil for Hair & Body
The Good: My hair and skin definitely kept the moisture locked in. Plus, it’s pretty affordable.
The Bad: Nothing at all!

Overall

On a grading scale, I would give this collection an A+ for effort and execution. Nikita Wilson Beauty Chemist is a start-up company that’s on a path in the right direction. I can’t wait to see what future products that plan to offer.

Naturall Club: The Avocado Collection

February 11, 2020

Hey everyone, and welcome back! Today, I am sharing my recent collaboration with the Naturall Club. I received six products from their full Avocado collection, found here.  Naturall Club? Yes! Naturall Club is a black owned business that specializes in creating cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and natural ingredients for ethnic hair.

Now that you have a little history on Naturall Club, let’s get down to business! I received the products earlier this month, and couldn’t wait to test them out. Since I pushed past my usual wash day, the avocado collection couldn’t come at a better time! I put together this fun youtube video describing my experience. Please view below:

Packaging

The unpackaging process was very straight forward. After receiving the box, I began taking out each product one by one. Unfortunately, the shampoo bottle cap was cracked, with some of the product soiling the box. No problem though! I threw away the box, and cleaned the shampoo bottle with warm water.

Value

If you have a chance to visit Naturall Club’s website, the Avocado Collection has been marked down to $75. It’s original price was $94. That’s way cheaper than purchasing each item individually. So, if it was up to me, I would save a few extra dollars and purchase the full collection.

Before diving in head first make sure you use their products in the following order:

Cleansing Avocado Shampoo
The Good: The shampoo was a hit for me. I thoroughly enjoyed using it.
The Bad: Nothing bad!

Hydrating Avocado Conditioner
The Good: The conditioner was thick enough for my tight curls. I really liked how my hair smelled as I finger combed.
The Bad: Nothing bad!

Apply Avocado Deep Conditioner
The Good: It had a different smell to it, which I liked
The Bad: I was expecting more from the package. There was only enough for one deep condition session. In addition, I felt a burning sensation when left in my hair.

Nourishing Leave-in Conditioner
The Good: As all the other products, the leave-in condition smelled really good.
The Bad: I was expecting a thicker solution for my hair.

Comb Curl Custard
The Good: It was on the lighter side, which didn’t over power the leave in conditioner. Also, there were no flakes when dried.
The Bad: Nothing bad!

Pure Avocado Oil
The Good: Although it was a little sticky as expected, I really liked its overall consistency.
The Bad: Nothing bad

Overall

On a grading scale, I would give this collection an A for effort and execution. The Naturall Club really aims to provide affordable, natural products that smell amazing. To be fair, I don’t have the slightest clue about many natural hair companies. However, this one definitely hit the spot. My curls were very moisturized and loose.

Have you tried any items from the Naturall Club’s Avocado Collection? If so, how did everything work out for you? Please, share in the comments section below!

Thanks,
