Hey everyone! I’m back this week to announce my latest collaboration with You Go Natural (YGN). In a previous blog post, I reviewed their open shirt jersey turban found here. Today, I’m trying on the highly anticipated, halo t-shirt turban from YGN’s spring/summer collection.

Product
YGN’s latest collection features the latest hues and colors (With an updated design) created specifically for men. It’s tight fit is ideal for keeping all your natural hairstyles in place. Since I’m manipulating my hair a lot this season, the lightweight turban is the perfect option. Bonus – The infinity loop is lightweight, comfortable, and adds for a stunning finish.
Packaging
Similar to the previous YGN product I reviewed, the turban arrived in clear bag with the YGN logo printed across the front. The bag has a zipper top closing, which prevents the turban from falling out.
Value
This turban is being sold for $35 (The average price as most of their products). If you have a few bucks to spare, its worth the purchase.
Review
YGN’s headwraps and turbans and headwraps are pre-tied (That’s their selling points). Since I’m always in a rush, I don’t necessarily have two to three minutes to sit down and tie a turban. The pre-tied options usually accommodate my lifestyle better. Plus, there are many colors to choose from. If you’re like me and love a few options, you won’t be disappointed.
The Good: I love supporting black owned businesses in general. That in itself is a great selling point for me. Plus, I love the turban’s lightweight jersey material. Plus, it absorbs the moisture from all my hair products as well (Like a t-shirt). Don’t get me wrong, you’ll see the stains, but they will dry up eventually.
The Bad: Sometimes, it’s a little hard to get the infinity loop to how I want it to look, especially after wrapping it a couple of times (It could be me being critical). Other than that, it’s perfect!
Overall
I give this product a 5 out 5. I can’t wait to try on a new product!
