What I’m Wearing
Herringbone Blazer | Vest | Shirt | Jeans | Shoes
Without a doubt, I have a niche for finding herringbone blazers in the thrift store. Herringbone blazer? Sorry, was that too specific for you? Just in case you have been hiding under a rock, herringbone blazers have been around for quite some time. Traced all the way back to Egyptian textiles, the herringbone print has a very distinct v-shape pattern that is typically made from wool, hence the fall look. Wool is typically worn during the cooler months. I can’t imagine wearing a wool blazer in ninety degree weather. Anyhoo, I decided to style my herringbone blazer with a simple grey waistcoat, dress shirt, and necktie. Based on the colors, you can see I’m maintaining a cool color palette for the fall. Continuing with this theme, I threw on my favorite skinny jeans and leather zip up loafers. The brown and black add a nice little contrast, don’t they? So, how do you feel about this particular look? Happy Hump Day,
