This is the go-to shirt if you want to hang with the homies or grab some food to go. Make sure you hit up Express and make a purchase before September rolls around. #WIWT Bold Striped Pants

It’s imperative that you stay ahead of the curve and include vertical stripes into your wardrobe this summer. I, for one, have taken full advantage of this trend. So much so, that I have purchased about three pair of striped pants over the last month. Of course, I didn’t pay full price. Since we are taking about price, I picked up these bold striped pants from ASOS for $15. A steal, right? I further styled my trousers with this black Metallica tee shirt. Travel: Marcus Garvey Park

Last Saturday, my bestie, Mora and I, took a quick trip up to NYC to visit our friend Tannis, for here 29th Birthday Party. Now, this wasn’t your typical Birthday Party, but rather a picnic/bbq in the park. For six hours, we spent the afternoon listening to good music, dancing, and enjoying ourselves in Marcus Garvey Park. Despite the 90 degree weather, we still managed to have a great time. Plus, we had enough food to go around.
