#WIWT Baseball Jersey

July 11, 2018

What I’m Wearing
Baseball Jersey | T-Shirt | Khakis | Hiking Sandals

Happy Hump Day everyone! As you can see above, I decided to keep it “real” casual today with this non sports affiliated baseball jersey from Forever21. The jersey itself has a very relaxed fit, and it looks great over a t-shirt or tank. Rather than wearing it a pair shorts, I decided to throw on an old pair of khakis from work. Speaking of work, most of my cowokers wear hiking sandals in the office (I work with a bunch of cool Geographers). Needless to say, they inspired me to get a pair of my own. Overall, this look is all over the place, but I love it! I call it the sporty nature lover look! So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Music Monday: Summertime Fine

July 9, 2018

Happy Monday! Sorry for the lack of music delays, but I’ve been working on my summer playlist for a couple of weeks now. It’s taken up most of my free time. Sike! No, I’ve actually been doing a lot of traveling lately. Nevertheless, I did have time to put this summer playlist together. Most of these tracks are reminiscent of my fondest summer moments. So, without further ado, check out my playlist below:

  1. “Why Don’t We Fall in Love,” Amerie
  2. “Summertime,” DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince
  3. “Summer Wit’ Miami,” Jim Jones, Trey Songz
  4. “Frontin’,” Pharrell Williams
  5. “Aston Martin Music,” Rick Ross, Drake, Chrisette Michele
  6. “Thong Song,” Sisqo
  7. “Rock Wit U (Awww Baby),” Ashanti
  8. “The One,” Tamar
  9. “Let It Go,” Keyshia Cole, Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim

See Ya,

#WIWT Dress Pants

What I’m Wearing
Dress Pants | Shirts | Sneakers

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been feeling this dress pants and graphic tee getup for quite some time now. I’m not exactly sure why this particular look is so appealing to me. I guess it’s the 90s appeal. Anyways, I found these wide leg dress pants at my local Goodwill. Wide leg pants are also back in style in this summer. Nevertheless, I decided to style my pants with a graphic tee and Chucks. To accessorize, I tied a navy bandanna around my neck. Ascot anyone? So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

OOTW: 4th of July Cookout

July 3, 2018

Outfit of the Week
Denim Shirt | Tank | Shorts | Sneakers

To be honest, I can’t say that I’m the most patriotic person, but summer cookouts are my thing. Plus, who doesn’t look a good cookout ensemble? I know I certainly do. That being said, I decided to create this festive 4th of July cookout outfit. Since I’ll most likely be beach or poolside tomorrow, I thought it would really fun to throw on these star spangled banner swim trunks. Aren’t they fun?! Since these shorts are very colorful, I decided to tone them down with a short sleeve, denim shirt and white racerback tank. Since it’s going to be a hot one tomorrow, I’ll more than likely keep the denim shirt in my bag. Large armpit, sweat stains are a no go for me. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below!

Happy early 4th,
