WIWT: Monochromatic

What I’m Wearing
Sweatshirt: ASOS | Pants: ASOS | Coat: Old Navy | Sneakers: Puma

If you haven’t noticed, I am the king of monochromatic looks. In a previous post found here, I had the whole grandpa, grey sweatsuit going on. This time, I decided to take it step further with this gym teacher appropriate ensemble. With a graphic sweatshirt and dress slacks, the two navy separates go together quite well. To break it up a bit, I decided to throw on my favorite camel coat. The navy and camel compliment each other quite well. So, how do you feel about this particular look? WIWT: Tweed Topcoat

What I’m Wearing
Coat: ASOS | Turtleneck: KOHLS | Pants: ASOS | Boots: DSW

It’s another week, another turtleneck sweater. Lately, my under tops have been quite repetitive. I’ve been wearing turtleneck sweaters since the first day of winter, and I’m not laying off until Spring. Anyhow, today I decided to style my old white turtleneck sweater with my newly purchased tweed overcoat. Like my turtleneck sweaters, I’ve been wearing this particular coat all winter as well. Since I’m short, it’s full length covers most of my body. Plus, the pockets are nice and big. Continuing on, I further styled my coat with a pair of drop crotch cargo pants. Looking good, right? So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Hey! Guess what? I’m going on a road trip! Well, not today, but this weekend. My friend Mora, from ANOPENSECRET, are headed down to the Nation’s capital to check out the National Museum of African American History and Culture. We are so excited! Since we are going to have a three hour drive ahead of us, I put together this little playlist to make the drive go a little smoother. Most of the songs relate to driving, since you know how much I love themes. So, when you get a chance, check out the playlist below:

  1. “Last Night,” Diddy
  2. “Speedin’,” Rick Ross
  3. “Show Stopper,” Danity Kane
  4. “Fantastic Voyage,” Coolio
  5. “Get Your Roll On,” Big Tymers
  6. “Aston Martin Music,” Rick Ross
  7. “Drive Slow,” Kanye West
  8. “Throw Some D’s,” Rich Boy
  9. “It Was a Good Day,” Ice Cube
  10. “Fast Car,” The Dream
  11. “Ride Wit U,” Joe
  12. “Ride Wit Me,” Nelly

Always,
