When it’s chilly outside, I’m good for wearing a hoodie or two. Well, not literally, but you get what I’m saying. One hoodie is good enough for the season. Here I decided to dress down my brightly colored hoodie with some neutral pieces. The solid color grey tee adds a nice contrast to the hoodie. In addition, the distressed denim jeans help tone down the brightness from the hoodie as well. Overall, I love this simple fit! It’s perfect for a chill afternoon. WIWT: Layering

Happy Hump Day! Over the years, I’ve learned a thing our two about the art of layering from a few celebrity resources. Case in point, hip hop sensation, Kanye West is known for his amazing tracks and grungy street style. One of his signature looks is the baggie hoodie and overcoat combo. Simple, yet trendy, this pairing is ideal for seasonal layering. I’ve been so inspired by Mr. Yeezy, I decided to take a stab at his hoodie-coat pairing myself. As shown above, I layered my grey hooded sweatshirt under my favorite wool peacoat. Such a simple concept with amazing results! Plus, the camel and grey add a nice little contrast. WIWT: Moto Jacket

Aha! It looks like you figured out my favorite trend of the season. Vans and moto jackets? No, but I have been pairing those two together a lot lately. As covered in yesterday’s OOTW post, I’ve been obsessed with the whole hoodie and jacket trend. Not only is this look simple to pull off, it looks really edgy when worn with the right jeans as well. For this post, I decided to layer my my solid color hoodie with under a faux leather motorcycle jacket from Forever21. A simple longline tee and hooded sweatshirt becomes something special when worn with this fun jacket. Continuing with this motor-cross theme, I threw on my favorite pair of biker jeans from H&M.
