What I’m Wearing
Shirt: Goodwill | Pants: H&M | Sandals: DSW

Today, I decided to dress up my newly thrifted, Hawaiian shirt. If you recall in my previous OOTW post, tropical prints are best worn with with solid colors. Remember, there’s no need to throw off your entire look with another print or statement piece. Here, I decided to style my shirt with these fun tuxedo joggers from H&M. Tuxedo joggers? Similar to fitted sweatpants, these pants are equipped with an elastic ankle and pleated front. The pleated front adds for a nice touch. For a little contrast, I decided to slide in my favorite woven, leather sandals from DSW. Looking good, right? So, how do you feel about this particular look, feel free to share in the comments section below. Thanks for reading!

See you tomorrow,

OOTD: November 2016
Outfit of the Week
Shirt: Macys |Pants: Trouva | Sandals: ETSY

Sorry, I’ve been slacking on the weekly #OOTW posts. You know, life happens. So, I’m back to show off another summer inspired look. Today, I styled a tropical print button-up with a pair of olive chinos. When it comes to prints, don’t limit yourself to one specific color. You can mix and match your blues, yellows, and reds together for a finished look. Continuing with this theme, I paired them with these handmade, Roman Grecian leather sandals. Fellas, if you are wearing the sandals this summer, make sure you have those toes done. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below!

See ya,

What I’m Wearing
Joggers: H&M | Shirt: ASOS | Shoes: ASOS

When it comes to summer 17′ trends, matching colors is the wave this season! All your favorite hues of yellow, green, red, pink, and navy can be easily paired together with their matching, solid color counterpart. Take, for instance, the featured outfit above. Today, I decided to style my newly purchased navy joggers with this old, muscle tee. Although both pieces were purchased from separate stores, they match up together perfectly. Not bad right, especially since navy comes in a variety of shades, ranging from light to dark. Since I didn’t want to look like a complete Smurff, I decided to throw on these nude, suede loafers at the last minute. They definitely add a nice touch, don’t you think? So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Enjoy,

After twenty three days, Cody Nickson, the 32 year old construction sales rep from Plano, TX became the second houseguest evicted from the Big Brother house. After being in a position of power last week, Cody’s game was completely turned upside down. During the live eviction, his alliance went against their original plan and sent the unintended target, Jillian home. To make matters even worse, Cody’s arch nemesis, Paul, became the newest HoH. As the week progressed, it came to no surprise that Cody found himself sitting on the chopping block, and eventually evicted during the live vote. You can find out how it all went down below.

Head of Household

Following the live eviction, we are introduced to the Sugar Shot Head of Household competition. During this challenge, candies are dropped from the sky with tickets inside. Once collected, houseguests are allowed to exchange tickets, and take up to three shots at one time. The first houseguest to land a ball in the center heart wins Head of Household for the week. Paul, the 24 year old clothing designer wins this challenge.

Den of Temptation

As you know, America has been voting all week to tempt a new houseguest inside the den of temptation. The houseguest that accepts their temptation will unleash a consequence on the house. Christmas, the 35 year old fitness superstar was offered the Ring of Replacement, which grants her the power to replace a randomly drawn player in any veto competition this season. Of course, she accepts! In order to release the power though, Christmas selected Cody, Jessica, and Jason to be cursed for the week.

Nominations

Since the beginning of the week, Paul has made it known who his targets are, Cody and Jessica. With that being said, he plans on backdooring Cody, using two pawns in ths process. Paul eventually convinces both Alex and Josh to go up on the block together. During the nomination ceremony, Paul follows through with his plan and nominates Alex and Josh for eviction.

Cursed

Oh, and let’s not forget about Ramses. Remember, last week, he randomly received the nomination curse. He decided to use the curse this week, and became the third nominee.

Power of Veto Competition

Paul, Alex, Josh, Ramses, Elena, and Matt participated in the Path of Least Resistance Power of Veto competition. According to wikipedia, “In this competition, houseguests competed individually. They must go through a series of rooms and answer questions based on what they have seen throughout the previous rooms. If they answer a question correctly, they may walk through a quicker path. If they answer incorrectly, they must take a delayed path that contains a challenge that will slow them down. The houseguest to make it through all five areas in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto. Paul was the winner.”

Power of Veto Ceremony

With complete power, Paul has every intention to carry out his plan. As expected, he used the Power of Veto on Josh, naming Cody as the replacement nominee.

Live Eviction

Worried about Jessica’s position in the game, Cody decided to throw some of his former alliance members, Mark and Dominique, under the bus. Adding more fuel to the fire, Cody continued to stir the pot during Dominique’s talk show. Not only did this incident expose the old alliance to the house, it brought some attention to Dominique. At the live eviction, Cody was evicted in a seven to three vote.
