WIWT: Bomber Jacket

March 1, 2017

What I’m Wearing
Bomber Jacket: H&M | Shirt: Target | Jeans: ASOS | Sneakers: Converse

Bomber jackets have become very popular this season. Traditionally found in the cooler portion of the color ramp, these new age bomber jackets come in a variety of colors like beige, olive, and pink. If you are casual street walker like myself, the beige jacket works just fine. As shown above, I styled my H&M jacket with a graphic tee from Target and a pair DIY distressed jeans from ASOS. For a pop of color, I threw on these fun Converse sneakers. This is great look, right? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Catch you later,

What I’m Wearing
Shirt: Goodwill | Duster Coat: ASOS | Jeans: Thrift | Shoes: DSW

I found this striped, referee style shirt at my local Goodwill for $5. Made from a soft performance material, this top is fully weather resistant. That makes sense, especially if you have a soccer game to officiate. With all this unpredictable weather we’ve been having in New Jersey, the duster coat is the perfect addition to any outfit. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

See you tomorrow,

WIWT: Camel Overcoat

What I’m Wearing
Topcoat: Old Navy | Sweater: H&M | Jeans: H&M |Boots: DSW

I really got into camel coats a couple years ago, and I haven’t abandoned the trend yet. Why? It’s extremely versatile. You can dress it up or down depending on where you are going. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m always dressing down my topcoats. Take, for instance, the outfit shown above. I dressed down my topcoat with a rugby inspired sweater, a pair of skinny jeans, and these newly purchased wingtip leather boots. Originally, I was going to wear my favorite distressed jeans with a sweatshirt. However, I think the black jeans add a perfect contrast to the boots and coat. So, how do you feel about this particular outfit? Feel free to share below.

WIWT: Love is Dope

Happy Valentine’s Day! For all you sad puppies out there that lost a partner, never had one, or really wants one, cheer up! You don’t have to actually have a Valentine to celebrate the holiday. I’m sure there is someone in your life that you love. Whether it’s a current lover, parent, best friend, sibling, or a pet, make sure this person knows how much you care today! I know it sounds a lot easier than it sounds, but I’ve been there before. Valentine’s Day was once a drag for me.

Why? Well, when you spent countless of years comparing your love life to others through social media, you can get down on yourself and forget the true meaning of the holiday. Rather than spending another year projecting my hatred for everyone that celebrated the holiday, I did some major soul searching. First off, I had to really learn how to love myself. How can you expect to love when you don’t love yourself? No need to go into the gory details of self work, but I did figure it out. Next, appreciate those around you. As a Leo, I can be a little self absorbed and I can come off as a little ungrateful. That’s when the appreciation began. Once I was able grasp this concept, I realized that love is actually dope and I have fully invested myself with the holiday ever since. As you can see, I love dressing up Valentine’s Day.

This year, I decided to rock this graphic tee from Fashionpowwow with a black leather jacket, dress pants, and slip on sneakers. Where is your red? Why wear something red when you have the words “Love is Dope” across your chest? So, how did you bring in Valentine’s Day. Feel free to share in the comments section below.

Peace, Love, and Harmony,
