Around this time last year, I created a “Sounds Like the 80s” playlist, found here. Sounds Like 80s? If you don’t recall, the playlist featured modern tunes that were very reminiscent of the Reagan Decade. Today, I decided to jump of a decade with the “Sounds Like 90s.” So, when you get a chance, check out some of the tunes, and let me know what you think. The full playlist is listed below:

  1. “Something New,” Zendaya
  2. “Turnin’ Me Up,” BJ the Chicago Kid
  3. “Teenage Fever,” Drake
  4. “Look What You Made Me Do,” Taylor Swift
  5. “Whatever You Need,” Meek Mill
  6. “Juicy Booty,” Chris Brown
  7. “Catch Me Outside,” Ski Mask the Slump God
  8. “Crying in the Club,” Camilla Cabello
  9. “Ex,” Ty Dolla $ign
  10. “He Like That,” FIfth Harmony

What I’m Wearing
Track Pants: Goodwill | Denim Shirt: GAP| Tee: GAP | Shoes: Vans

Guess what? Athletic inspired trends are back in style this season. This time, it’s all about the track pants! Whether you have one, two, or three stripes, track pants are made in a variety of colors and styles that suit your personal style. Today, I decided to step out in these comfy, Adidas track pants. With a few solid grey stripes, these pants can be easily paired with a baggy denim shirt and v-neck tee. Rather than going with than going with the obvious choice, I slid into my Old Skool Vans canvas sneakers instead. So, how do you feel about this particular look? WIWT: Camo Rain Jacket

What I’m Wearing
Rain Jacket: ASOS  | T-Shirt: GAP | Jeans: H&M | Shoes: ASOS

I’m so happy that rain jackets are cool again! I recently added a few to my collection, and wanted to start wearing them before the season got a little too chilly. As shown above, I decided to style my hooded, camouflage rain jacket with a monochromatic color scheme. The lighter and dark contrast with the shirt and jeans help bring out the green tones from the jacket. Remember, don’t let a fun pattern intimidate you. Have a little fun with it. I sure did! So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

OOTD: November 2016
Outfit of the Week
Jacket: TOPMAN | Shirt: HUGO BOSS | Pants: Lords of Harlech | Boots: Superdry

Contrast, contrast, and more contrast! I love mix matching different patterns, colors, and textures together. For this particular post, it’s all about stripes and suede. Black and brown are usually the perfect contrasting colors to mix  together. That being said, the brown suede jacket looks great when worn over the striped shirt. Let’s not forget about the skinny jeans and chelsea boots! They definitely add a nice final touch. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below!
