What I’m Wearing
Track Jacket: ASOS | Pants: ASOS | Sneakers: ASOS

If you love comfortable clothing and athletic apparel, then this post is for you. Today, I decided to get a little sporty in this zip through track jacket from ASOS. Made from a light polyester material, this jacket look great with your favorite denim jeans or dress pants, as pictured above. For an additional pop of color, I decided to wear these printed socks from Chale Socks with my white canvas sneakers. Chale Socks? If you haven’t heard of them, their biography has been provided here, “We are a dynamic, African (Ghanaian), forward thinking creatives. We are inspired to elevate our culture through creating distinctive, vibrant African inspired socks.(everyday accessories). Artistically designed, using African cultural symbolism and motifs. Primarily focusing on Adinkra symbols, beautifully cultivated patterns, and carefully selected colors.” As shown above, I’m rocking these Gye Nyame socks, which symbolize the supremacy of God. Powerful, right? If interested, you should definitely check out their website ASAP. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below.

The 90’s is one of those decades that seemingly never goes out of style. In terms of music, it’s one of my favorites. I grew up listening to all those sad r&b songs, which have influenced my current taste in music today. So, with that being said, I put this little playlist together to share some of my jams from the 90s. After listening, let me know what you think! I hope you fun taking a trip down memory lane. Check out the full playlist below:

  1. “Motown Philly,” Boyz II Men
  2. “Be Happy,” Mary J. Blige
  3. “The Boy is Mine,” Brandy, Monica
  4. “Like This and Like That,” Monica
  5. “Freak Like Me,” Adina Howard
  6. “Where I Wanna Be,” Donell Jones
  7. “What’s So Different?” Ginuwine
  8. “Whatever,” Ideal
  9. “Return of the Mack,” Mark Morrison
  10. “Sensitivity,” Ralph Tresvant
  11. “Candy Rain,” Soul For Real

WIWT: All Black

What I’m Wearing
Tee: H&M | Jacket: ASOS | Jeans: River Island | Boots: ASOS

Before the official first day of fall, I decided to get a head start on one of my favorite trends, the monochromatic color scheme. Dressing in the same color family is one of the easiest ways to transition between seasons. Plus, it’s a great option if your clothes are still boxed up from last winter.Today, I decided to go along with this theme by dressing from head to toe in all black. As shown above, the entire outfit consists of a few simple pieces: 1) This Nirvana printed graphic tee; 2) My favorite distressed black skinny jeans; 3) These suede chelsea boots. For a little contrast, I decided to spice up things with this dark wash, zip-up jacket from ASOS. To be honest, I’ve been searching for a zip up denim jacket for months now, and of course ASOS had the perfect one! What a great way to kick off fall, right? OOTD: November 2016
Outfit of the Week
Jacket: House of Fraser |Shirt: GAP | Pants: American Eagle | Boots: Dr. Martens

I’ve been on this athletic wear binge for over a month now, and I can’t seem to get it 100% down quite yet. I’m not sure if it’s the actual fit of Adidas pants or what, but nothing seems to look right. Nerveless, I decided to put this look together in honor as part of my #trendgoals. As shown above, the Adidas pants serve as substitutes for my skinny jeans. So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below!

See Ya,
