After surviving sixty-nine days and fourteen evictions, veteran player Kevin Martin was crowned the winner of Big Brother Canada 5. The twenty four year old professional poker player came in this season with a huge chip on his shoulder, and a major target on his back. In the end, Kevin’s cutthroat game play finally paid off. You can find out how it all went down in the brief summary below!

Head of Household

The final head of household was determined by a tough three part competition. The winner of the Jungle Fever competition automatically advances to the final round. With Demetres, Karen, and Kevin all fighting for the sole vote evict, the stakes were high. Luckily, Demetres was able to pull out the win, securing his spot in the final competition.

In the “When Stars Align” HoH competition, Karen and Kevin used their knowledge of previous events to light up a series of constellations. With his great memorization skills, Kevin was able to take home the win, beating out Karen.

In the “Jury Questions” competition, Kevin and Demetres went head to head to win the final HoH round. After correctly answering a series of questions, Kevin emerged victorious!

Eviction

With a guaranteed spot in the final two, Kevin must decide who to evict and will become the last member of the jury. Kevin had a big decision to make. Although there are pros and cons to both, Kevin followed his gut instinct and evicted Demetres from the game.

The Jury

The eight person jury consisting of Neda, Sindy, Bruno, Jackie, Dre, William, Dillon, and Ika (Minus the newly evicted Demetres) congregated with former BBCAN player, Tim, to discuss who played the best game. Tensions were at an all time high due to the heated exchange between Ika and Neda. Nerveless, the jury had a tough decision to make.

The Vote

After asking a series of questions to the finalists, the jury listened to Karen and Kevin as the plead their case to win. With that being said, it was time for the jury to cast their votes. One at the time, each jury member voted for who they wanted to win the game. Once the votes were counted and verified, it was finally time to announce the winner.

WIWT: Printed Shirt

What I’m Wearing
T-shirt: H&M | Shorts: ASOS | Sneakers: ASOS

Last weekend, I happened to walk in H&M during their annual Fourth of July summer sale. As expected, I left with a bag full of marked down clothes. Most of the shirts I found were $4. That’s a steal, right? It sure is! During the sale, I found this fun tropical patterned shirt. As you can see, this shirt looks great with the right pair of shorts and footwear. More specifically, I went with a pair of slim chino shorts and my favorite woven slip-on sneakers. The yellow shorts are a perfect addition to the overall tropical theme, don’t you think? So, how do you feel about this particular look? Feel free to share in the comments section below. Thanks for reading!

Outfit of the Week
Shirt: Macys |Pants: River Island | Shoes: Newchic

Happy Fourth of July! I know this is not the most festive outfit, but I still like to dress up for even the most casual cookouts. As shown above, this look consists of a printed, short sleeve button-up, navy dress pants, and woven slip-on sneakers. The word “tropical” is a complete understatement here folks!
